Join Mark Jobe, Joe Stowell and Michael Rydelnik for the Moody Journeys of Paul Tour September 11 – 22, 2024 (optional Rome extension through September 25)
Beginning in Athens and Corinth, we’ll visit some of their key Biblical sites. Then we’ll board the Star Clipper sailing ship (chartered just for our Moody expedition) to follow the routes of Paul’s Missionary Journeys. All along the way we’ll study the Scriptures on location where Paul taught and even penned some of his New Testament letters. We’ll take in the highlights and culture of key biblical sites and other historic locations in both Greece and Turkey. We’ll follow the Scriptures to Ephesus, Miltus, Patmos, Pergamum and other amazing locations in the ministry of both Paul and John. After five days at sea, we’ll leave the Star Clipper to continue our journey overland on luxury tour buses. We’ll go on to explore and learn at important New Testament and historical sites including Philippi, Thessaloniki and Berea.
Rome - Optional Extension: Visit the Colosseum, Forum, Arch of Titus, Vatican Museums, Pantheon, as well as the prison where Paul was held . . . . so much to see in the “Eternal City.” [Space for the extension is limited, so please register early.]

Cost Includes:
Ten (10) nights’ accommodation in luxury hotels and aboard the Star Clipper, a four-masted clipper ship exclusively charted for our tour. Touring with experienced English speaking guides and drivers. Meals included are breakfast and dinner (some lunches included). Individual headsets are provided which allow you to clearly hear the Bible Teacher and Guide from a comfortable distance. The daily itinerary is an overview of planned events and sites, and is subject to adjustment as necessary at the time of the tour. All taxes, fees and tips are included in the cost of the tour.
Rome extension includes 4 days/3 nights in luxury hotels. Touring with experienced English speaking guides and drivers. Meals included are breakfast and dinner (some lunches included). Airfare is not included. Messianic Journeys will provide additional information about optional group flights at a later date.
We are unable to match guests with potential roommates because of the unique nature of this tour. In order to secure the double occupancy tour cost, we recommend finding a travel companion.

Price Includes:
LODGING – 5 nights in luxury hotels and 5 nights aboard the Star Clipper (double occupancy = 2 people per room)
MEALS – breakfast and dinner daily with coffee and tea.

Messianic Journeys will provide additional information about optional group flights at a later date, or you may make your own flight arrangements. Please contact our office for information about the group flights, so that you can arrange to arrive/depart as close as possible to the same times as the group flights.
Most lunches, beverages (other than coffee and tea), personal expenses (snacks, phone, laundry, internet), travel/trip insurance.
Refunds/Cancellations:
All cancellation notices must be received in writing (e-mail) to the Messianic Journeys office. Refunds for cancellation are based on the time of the cancellation. Failure to submit payments within the required payment schedule (and grace period) may result in trip cancellation by Messianic Journeys.
Before December 1, 2023 Cancellation: Trip Payment is refundable less $500.00 cancellation fee.
December 1, 2023 - January 31, 2024 Cancellation: Refund less $2500.00 cancellation fee.
February 1 – March 31, 2024 Cancellation: Refund less $3500.00 cancellation fee.
After March 31, 2024 Cancellation: Sorry no refund.

Prices are based on existing U.S. dollar exchange rate, current costs, fuel charges, and tariff rates, and are subject to change (beyond our control) based on the dollar and international market. Should prices change, you will be notified immediately, and you will be responsible to pay any additional costs.
Payments should be made on the payment schedule for this tour. Failure to make payments on the payment schedule, may result in your loss of place on the tour with cancellation fees. You can pay by credit card, debit card, or electronic check.
If you want to mail a check, please call the Messianic Journeys office 773-338-9100 for instructions. (Check payments are welcome, but do NOT send check payment without talking to our office for instructions regarding this process and mailing address for check payment.)
Deviations and Changes:
Requests for deviation from the itinerary are subject to a $500.00 deviation fee, plus any applicable airfare or ground transportation surcharges. Itinerary changes cannot be accepted after March 31, 2024.
Passport:
You are responsible for the accuracy of your Passport information.
Be sure to enter your Passport name EXACTLY (first, middle, last) as it appears on your Passport. Your tickets will be purchased using the Passport Name you supply. If your name is not exactly the same on your ticket and your Passport, your ticket for this tour will be invalid and you may have a substantial cost to re-ticket in the correct name.
You must have a valid passport with an expiration date 6 months after the date of our return to the U.S. If you need a new or renewed passport, it takes several weeks to secure one, so don’t delay applying/updating. Non-U.S. Passport holders, please contact Messianic Journeys.
Inoculations & Visas:
At this time, no inoculations or visas (for U.S. Citizens) are required for this tour.
Luggage:
One piece of checked luggage, maximum 50 pounds. Plus, one small personal bag (small enough to comfortably fit on your lap on the tour bus, e.g. a back-pack). Luggage is limited due to the tour bus luggage bay capacity.
Trip/Travel Insurance:
Messianic Journeys STRONGLY recommends Trip Insurance. Messianic Journeys urges you to procure Trip Insurance immediately after registering for a tour. This type of insurance will cover the cost of your trip should you need to cancel because of an emergency prior to departure, or return mid-trip to the States because of an emergency, illness or injury.
Messianic Journeys does not provide Trip Insurance; however, we partner with Arch RoamRight to provide an excellent option for Trip Insurance. Please secure the insurance plan of your choice immediately upon registering for a trip and carry the information with you as you travel.
Liability:
Messianic Journeys acts only as agent for the various companies whose accommodations and conveyances are utilized for the tour. It assumes no responsibility or liability in connection with the services of any train, carriage, automobile, airplane, ship, boat or other conveyance which will be used either wholly or in part. Neither will Messianic Journeys be responsible for any error, omission, act or any injury, loss, accident or any delay which may be occasioned by reason of defect in any vehicle through neglect or default of any company or person engaged in the conveying of passengers or their luggage. The tour operators accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delays or changes in motor coach, train, airplane services, or that of any other conveyance, sickness, accident, weather, strikes, war, violence, quarantine, or other causes, and all such losses or expenses must be borne by the individual.
Flight times are subject to change by the airline without advance notice. Messianic Journeys is not responsible for airline flight cancellations, schedule changes and delays, and cannot reimburse passengers for expenses resulting from such delays or cancellations. (This includes group flights arranged by Messianic Journeys or connecting flights made by individuals to meet group flights.) Messianic Journeys strongly recommends the purchase of travel insurance to cover any losses that may be incurred. In the highly unlikely event the airline(s) changes flight schedules, Messianic Journeys reserves the right to lengthen or shorten the itinerary as necessary. A corresponding cost increase may occur if additional nights/meals are necessary.
Physical Requirements & Responsibility:
Touring with Messianic Journeys is not a looking-out-the-bus-window-experience. Our tours are a feet-on-the-ground adventure that requires travelers to be in generally good health, and are responsible to have independent mobility and strength.
There is a significant amount of walking over uneven archaeological terrain and nature pathways as well as up hills and ancient stairs. To participate in this tour successfully, you should be able to climb two flights of stairs without assistance and walk at a modest pace for a mile, as well as be able to stand in possibly hot weather.
Individuals registering for this journey accept the responsibility for being in good health and able to walk without assistance. If you require a cane, crutches, wheelchair or personal assistance to walk, sorry but this is not the trip for you. You must be physically able to independently walk and travel with the tour group. We are excited that you’re planning on joining us for the Moody Journeys of Paul Tour. It will be a great tour!
As we entered 2020, no one could have predicted the impact that the Covid-19 virus would have on our daily lives. Even as things are slowly beginning to return to the new definition of normal, there is still a level of uncertainty regarding how long the threat of the virus will last, the possibility that other variants will surface, further government-mandated shelter-in-place orders, bans on travel and mass gatherings, and social-distancing policies and recommendations. Since future challenges from Covid-19 could disrupt our lives at any time, we are including the following statement for your consideration.
Messianic Journeys always recommends that travelers purchase Trip Insurance, which will cover many cancellation situations, as well as any unfortunate medical condition/injury which may arise while you are in Israel (see your individual policy documents for specifics.) However, with many insurance providers, total trip cancellation due to pandemic events such as the Covid-19 virus may not be viewed as a covered situation.
Messianic Journeys Biblical and Educational Ministries includes a cancellation policy in our Terms statement for this tour. Please be sure to read this policy, as well as our FAQ page. This cancellation policy would apply if you need to cancel your registration prior to the tour. However, in the unlikely event that an incident such as the pandemic should disrupt our travel plans, Messianic Journeys may need to make the decision to cancel the tour if it is determined that travel would be inadvisable or impracticable. If this happens, we will do our best to treat our travelers as fairly as possible. Airlines may impose cancellation and change penalties. Some of our accommodations/hotels may impose cancellation and change penalties, too. These fees may not be recoverable by Messianic Journeys, and as such, would not be refunded to you.
